STEP 1 of the athlete tryout evaluation at Triple Threat Athletics!
You have selected whichever date (May 31, June 1st, June 2d) for your evaluation. Please be sure to print and bring with you already completed page 5 & 6 from the informational packet and the rules and regulations form notarized. There will be LIMITED copies onsite if you do not have access to a printer.
Tryouts will be done in groups of 10 athletes and in 20-minute increments. We ask that your athlete arrives 20mins before their schedule time to handle any paperwork and to go through our new safety procedures for athlete health check ins.
Athletes only need to attend 1 tryout session. Teams are built based on the USASF age grid, tumbling (if any) and other criteria based on our score sheet. DON’T WORRY; team tryouts are fun and easy! Coaches want to see the best out of your athlete. During the tryout process athletes will be evaluated on.
JUMPS
Novice Teams – Tuck Jump and Toe Touch
Prep & Elite Teams – Toe Touch and ANY connected jump. Example Pike and right side hurdler.
TUMBLING
Appropriate levels standing and running tumbling (if no tumbling skills DON’T WORRY)

First year doing cheerleading? its OK! No experience is necessary, we will teach athletes everything they need to know! EVERYONE MAKES A TEAM! At the end of your athletes tryout evaluation, coaches will give your athlete an ORANGE sheet of paper for STEP 2 of evaluation process which is our level callbacks on Saturday, June 4th
